“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.” – Jimmy Dean
There are so many places I’ve always wanted to travel, but haven’t seen yet. Everyone makes traveling sound so easy in saying we just need to do it and not worry about how much it costs. The reality is travel is not cheap and it’s difficult to plan all the details of a trip when we’re busy with our hectic lives. When the time comes, I know I’ll find a way to make it happen, but for now, these destinations are still a dream:

  • Paris, France
    • I’ve always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower at night and eat a real French macaron in none other than Paris.
  • London, England
    • There’s something about the clichéd red telephone booths and pubs that make me want to flee to London.
  • Italy
    • I don’t care where I go in Italy – I just know I want to be there. After all, I’m Italian and it’s kind of a necessity for me to travel there.
  • Greece
    • My last name confuses people all the time because they think I’m Greek. Long story short – I’m not Greek, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to visit this beautiful city and discover Santorini.
  • Washington
    • Keeping it local, I would love to see Seattle and experience the rainy state for myself. The rain helps me write, though I don’t see myself staying here for too long, as I’ll start missing my California sun.
  • New York
    • Just like Los Angeles, New York looks glamorous on-screen. Though I’ve tried to tell myself several times it’s not going to be as great as I believe, that isn’t stopping me from wanting to experience the shopping spoils of 5th Avenue and see the Statue of Liberty.

What are your favorite destinations and places you’ve always wanted to go to? Have you been to any of the ones on my list?
