Farewell, July.

“August is like the Sunday of summer.” – Unknown

Oh, July. Where have you gone? Summer has flown by so fast, and I don’t know how that’s possible given how slow some of these painfully hot days have passed. It’s time to start thinking about school, books, papers, and all the things we don’t want to be reminded of – at least those of us who are going back to school. August is also a great time to think about other things too. We have so much to look forward to.

Autumn. Say hello to sweaters, neutral color palettes, and the famed Pumpkin Spice Latte from none other than Starbucks.

Halloween is around the corner. I’m not a fan of the spooky holiday, but I do enjoy dressing up and going to Disneyland for the annual Halloween party. It’s become a tradition with my family that we started last year. As a Disney family, we get excited planning outfits and figuring out who will have the best costume.

Over halfway. It’s the last (sort of) half of the year. Before we know it, Christmas will be here, and that’s a scary thought. We have to make the most of the autumn months and be productive. There aren’t that many holidays during August, September, and October, so we have to stay busy. We’ll have several days to look forward to before the November holiday rush kicks in.

Here’s to enjoying August and Autumn! 🙂
