Perfectly Positive Personality

“Don’t let the silly little things steal your happiness.” – Unknown

My Tumblr is what first got me into the blogosphere and originally contained a lot of my first blog posts that are now on my WordPress blog. Now it’s a collection of positive messages and inspiration to be happy. Here’s how I achieve a perfectly positive personality:

I believe that happiness is a choice. We can either choose to be happy or choose to be miserable. I remind myself that hatred and negativity don’t accomplish anything and try to take a deep breath when things get overwhelming.

Negative people thrive on drama, as I’ve mentioned before, and it serves no purpose in making people happier. What’s the point of it? Do people just get that bored with their own lives that they have to stir up trouble in other people’s?

I try not to let things get to me. Sometimes there’s that one person that always finds a way to get on my nerves, but I try to clear my head and not think about it.

I remind myself that I want to be remembered as the girl who smiled and was positive. I want to be someone who can be remembered. I want other people to look at me and think that they could do the same with a positive attitude.

And who couldn’t be happy or want to be positive after seeing a picture of that adorable pup I saw in Newport?

How do you try to stay positive? What are your tricks?
