“As a writer, I want people to feel something so great…a greater feeling than I had when I wrote the words they read.” – Me
One day at work while I was on my lunch break blogging as I usually do, I noticed that I had to moderate a comment and saw the kind and wonderful words he wrote about my blog. He stumbled upon my site and made me feel confident about all of my writing. I hadn’t thought of asking anyone to review my blog, but it makes a great blog post! 😉
When I first started this blog, I had 1 follower a couple of weeks in. Minus the fact that I was really only writing for myself, I kept blogging. Then I progressively got more likes and followers as the weeks rolled on and I became a disciplined writer. I currently have 20 followers and that number is so much greater to me than anyone could ever understand. I’ll take 20 followers over thousands who might not even be reading my blog.
Good things really do come to those who wait…I started this blog in April and it’s already September. I guess I didn’t even have to wait that long to discover something so genuine in the WordPress community.
Visit Josh’s blog to see what other great things he writes about. And remember…all it takes is one person to make a difference. For me, that difference was a smile, some encouragement, and a whole lot of confidence. 🙂
