Memories

Words hurt, but they won’t be remembered. Feelings are always remembered though, and the ache of a bad feeling seldom disappears. We can try to forget, but those scars and burdens may always exist in some way.

We’ve all done it. We’ve said something we weren’t proud of or made someone feel bad, and we didn’t consider the other person’s feelings in the moment. Making people feel great is something they will cherish. Feelings are never forgotten and good feelings are no exception.

Instead of adding an awful feeling to a person’s memory we should strive to fill each other’s lives with good feelings. A little happiness and positive thinking can go a long way. Good feelings = good memories.
