My Favorite Fall Scents

Fresh Fall Morning

It’s officially Fall and I’m so excited! Even though the weather has once again not matched up with the correct season in Southern California, we’ve gotten a few breezes and somewhat lower temperatures from our normal close-to-triple-digit weather. Recently, I stopped by Bath and Body Works to grab some of my favorite scents, and of course, some awesome deals. They’ve really stepped up their game, and as a result, I end up walking out of the store with even more great things for our home. I was also keeping my eyes peeled for their White Pumpkin scent. It was my favorite fall scent last year and I was ecstatic to see it in the store again. Here are some of the scents I found this year and why I’m so excited for them to fill our home:

  1. Fresh Fall Morning πŸ‚
    • To kick off the fall season, this was the first candle I lit while decorating our home with some of my homemade creations. It smells fresh and clean, and it reminds me of the scents on Soarin’ Over California at Disney California Adventure.
  2. Pumpkin Clove πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ³
    • A mixture of cloves, cinnamon, fresh pumpkin, and just a dash of nutmeg are enough to transport me to a beautiful road full of trees with crimson and apricot colored leaves. I can visualize what fall looks like to me when I smell it. It also reminds me of some of the pumpkin treats we bake during the season!
  3. Honeycrisp Apple 🍎
    • Just as it sounds, this one has a freshest-picked-apple scent to it. I can picture shiny honeycrisps piled up in a bushel basket.
  4. White Pumpkin πŸŽƒ
    • As I mentioned, this is one of my favorite candles and I can’t pinpoint what it is that makes it so great. It makes me think of sitting on the couch, cuddled up in a blanket while drinking a warm chai tea latte and reading my favorite book.
  5. Warm Apple Pie πŸ₯§
    • The food candles are an obvious give, as this candle smells exactly like a warm apple pie. I can see it coming out of the oven and the aroma wafting through the house. It might be time to take a trip to the store and make that happen.
  6. Sugared Snickerdoodle
    • This scent reminds me of Christmastime more than anything, but the warm spices still make it feel like fall. I’ll be lighting that one closer to November.
